Marion Bay and the Innes National Park are one of the jewels of the Southern Yorke Peninsula.

How To Get There

Marion Bay is a 300km (3hr) drive from Adelaide, South Australia. Once in Marion Bay turn left at the General Store, drive past the jetty along to 48 Slow Street.

What To Do
  • There is great fishing at the Marion Bay jetty or nearby Stenhouse Bay jetty which are renowed for catching squid.

  • Boat fishing is known for good catches of King George Whiting and Snapper. Boat launching at Marion and Pondalowie Bay. If you haven't a boat there are a number of Charter Fishing boats available.

  • Beach Fishing for Salmon, Mullet and Mulloway is always good fun.

  • Southern Yorke Peninsula has some of the best breaks for surfing at Pondalowie Bay and Chinamen's.

  • Go Diving and explore the vast marine life on the nearby reefs and ocean wrecks. Or wander across the road for a lovely refreshing swim.

  • Bushwalk along the coast or through the historic town of Inneston in Innes National Park.
